The 1st iCOSMIC – International Congress of Scientists in Mission for Innovation and Collaboration is an international and multidisciplinary scientific conference that will take place from June 1st to 3rd, 2026, at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Al Hoceima, Abdelmalek Essaâdi University (Morocco). The congress aims to create a high-level scientific forum dedicated to addressing major contemporary challenges related to sustainable tourism, territorial development, climate change, environmental protection, water and natural resource management, biodiversity, and scientific, technological and digital innovation. Special attention is given to interdisciplinary approaches combining natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, data science, artificial intelligence, and applied research for sustainability. iCOSMIC seeks to strengthen scientific cooperation and knowledge exchange between researchers, doctoral students, professionals, decision-makers, and civil society actors, particularly within the Mediterranean context. The conference promotes dialogue between academia and territories, highlighting applied research, innovative practices, and policy-relevant outcomes. The scientific program includes plenary sessions, oral and poster presentations, thematic sessions, and networking activities, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, international partnerships, and the emergence of joint research projects. iCOSMIC provides a platform for sharing scientific results, encouraging innovation, and contributing to sustainable and resilient territorial development.
